Community Medical Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Interventional Radiology for a nursing job in Fresno, California.

Responsibilities:

In your role, you will:

  • Prepare patients for procedures
  • Serve as a resource to patients and families, offering education on PICC care and maintenance.
  • Perform precise PICC line insertions using best practice guidelines. 
  • Administer drugs including procedural sedation
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and patterns during procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:

Education

  • Graduation from a school of Nursing or successful completion of sufficient units in nursing qualifying for state licensure required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred 

Preferred RN PICC Experience

  • Proficiency in PICCs insertion and maintenance.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.
  • Ability to thrive in both independent and team-oriented settings.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to clinical excellence.

 Licenses and Certifications

  • RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required

Aditional certification requirements must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transfer into job.

  • Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
